Christmas trees and killer bears!

On Monday Eliza and i managed to have mos of a day off together, this being a small miracle in of it's self meant it was time to get into the Christmas spirit! We had been meaning to build gingerbread houses and get a tree for weeks but our schedules weren't about to allow it.

But on this wonderful Monday we were able to get some time together and go get our tree! Now being the wonderful, enviormental, tree hugging, good people we are we decided to forgo a the tradition of going and cutting down an evergreen for the pleasure of growing one!

We got this sweet heart who is now living on our kitchen table and when late spring rolls around we're going to go find a good place for her to live. preferably in a grove of her fellow kind that will give her insight and guide her to become a big strong tree. However, for now she is our baby. Like all babies she is best kept high up on a table with a bow and wrapped up in lights!

With our lovely tree watered and sparkling we moved on to our next focus. Gingerbread houses. I didn't take many pictures due to the intensive process of making a proper ginger bread house, here's some of our good work.

This is the unfortunate tail of why children should always be careful of the rare and dangerous Red bear. The only bear in existence that is known to hunt in packs doing the frozen months when they are actually at their most active!
