Americans need metric!

Image
Forget the NSA. Forget the CIA, FBI, and DEA. Forget LMNO and P! Today we have to address the true monster of America! the USCU. The United states Customary Unit , Also known as the Imperial system. Bah, Imperialism. The very name is oppressive! It’s very nature is to alienate us from the rest of the world! How can you ask your Canadian neighbor for a cup of sugar if we’re the only ones that use ‘A cup’ as a measurement! They’ll give you a full tea cup of sugar! They would be not only stereotyping but ridiculous! Now I know here on the internet we only have content that is clear cut, well thought out, and mostly peer reviewed. I can’t just walk out and start shouting madness and expect you to listen! No! I’m going to give you a very simple reason every american will want to switch to a metric system.   It’s easier! Done, no argument left! What? that’s not enough? What is this the science channel? Discovery? Scishow ? Fine. Rocket science 101- Why we should switch. 1 mi

Why it's worth it to move to Google play and books.

S anyone keeping track with my blog will know I just finished reading Peter Pan . I did this using Google play - Books . The obvious reason great thing and draw back of reading digital books it battery. However, I'm plugged in most of the time so it wasn't a big issue for me. Your situation might be different. In my line offend a lot of time on the road. It was great for me when my partner was driving to be able to pull out my phone and instead of opening of the drama of Facebook, I opened up a "page" on my phone with the Play Books app. The app is rather nice. You can read online or save books to your device. All your Play books are available and you can easily switch to the Play store from the menu. In the book you get a variety of viewing options. Day (white page, black ink), night (black page, white text), and sepia. I personally use sepia. I have a strong feeling it has to do with looking cooler while taking screen caps. Looking impressive with my fedora.

Reading 2014: Peter Pan.

Wow. What a fun book . At 200 pages it's a quick read. However! The book still covers a lot not seen in the Disney movie, shocker right? Well, I'm sure most everyone has seen the Disney movie of Peter Pan. So the plot of the book was used for the movie. What I enjoyed about the book so much more is the narrator acts like a living entity in the story! Suppose, to make her happy, we whisper to her in her sleep that the brats are coming back. They are really within two miles of the window now, and flying strong, but all we need whisper is that they are on the way. Let's. It is a pity we did it, for she has started up, calling their names; and there is no one in the room but Nana. ~ Peter Pan, Pg 188. It makes you feel like you're a ghost, quietly following the stories and adventures of Peter, Wendy, and the Lost boys. Only rarely whispering into their world, When you do though... Bone chilling. Even just reading that the narrator is doing it pulls you that much tight

2014 Resolutions!

With the adventure of 2013 behind us it is time to look forward and upward! As always I am going to attempt multiple resolutions. I expect to successfully achieve like one... So that's something at least. But here are my resolutions! Start living a healthier lifestyle. Being more active in general as well as working out. Eating better healthier foods. My friend Damien  and I are going to be each others accountability buddies and coaches! I almost said couches! Read. I don't have the best reading skills or speed and I know I need to get better especially with college so I'm hoping if I start reading more difficult books and focusing on making my reading ability better I'll get better!  Start creating more creative content! I've pretty much given up on painting or drawing of any sort but I love writing, acting, and making stuff! so I really want to do more of that to help my brain keep active. So those are my resolutions, I do need one thing from you. Yes yo
